I can’t believe how many calls we get from people who have no idea where Bolivar is! And I’m not talking about people who live far away, we get calls from people who are a mere 20 minutes from us. So where is Bolivar? Well, Bolivar is located on Route 417 between Olean and Wellsville. If you’re coming from the Olean-Allegany-Portville way then you will want to take Route 417 East towards Wellsville. If you’re coming from Wellsville then you will want to take Route 417 West towards Olean. You can also come in to town from the north by way of Route 275. If you exit from Interstate 86 in Friendship, take Route 275 South and it will bring you right into Bolivar and right past our store. Now, here’s the tricky part, if you take Route 417 East from Olean to get to our store you will continue straight at the red light in town on to Route 275 North and we are a few hundred feet up on the right. If you take Route 417 West from Wellsville you will have to turn right at the red light onto Route 275 North and again we are a few hundred feet up on the right hand side. Okay, I know that’s a lot to take in so you can always go to our page that gives directions by way of google maps right to our store from your address, or you can give us a call here at the store and we’ll help you out. So there is your crash course on where Bolivar is, we can’t wait to see you!

At the beginning of December one of our pellet manufacturers authorized a reduction in the price of our Georgia Appling Pellets. They are now only $249 a ton! They are a great pellet with high heat output with a slightly higher ash content than some other pellets. We’ve had great feedback on these pellets with many feeling that for the price they are a great pellet. We have plenty in stock for everyone so stop in and see us for all your pellet needs!

I must admit that we’ve been very fortunate so far with the cooler weather. November was unbelievably warm for November, so now December has arrived and so has the cooler weather. If you didn’t have to turn the heat on before, you will now. The forecast is calling for a big drop in temps later this week, so are you ready? Do you have your pellets? Have you checked your stove to make sure it’s working right? Do you need a new stove or fireplace altogether? Never fear we are here! We have plenty of wood pellets and rice coal, our service is second to none and our stoves and fireplaces are efficient, beautiful and just what you need a cold, frightful day. Hope to see you soon!
